Restaurant Review Mallorca: Notenom
Camino de Genova | A San Agustin 51, 07015 Palma de Mallorca, Majorca, Spain http://restaurantenotenom.wordpress.com https://www.facebook.com/restaurantenotenom?ref=ts&fref=ts Notenom. An unassuming little Restaurant in Cala Mayor, just off the main street. It has been open for just under a year, and in its short history, has achieved the #16 place in TripAdvisor. I first visited this restaurant one month after it opened, attracted mainly by the simplistic Black and white decor and absolute cleanliness of the place. I was warmly welcomed by the owners, Miguel and Magdalena Moya, and given one of the best pulled cafe con leches I have ever had on the Island. Magdalena speaks perfect American English and is attentive to every need. I returned to the restaurant daily, and on revisiting the Island, I tend to stay in the Cala Mayor area so I can dine there. First you should know that I am particularly choosy about Spanish Cuisine. There is so much good food around that I will not waste my time on indifferently prepared dishes. For this reason, for me to patronize the restaurant as frequently as I do is a reflection on the chef Miguel Moya. Miguel has his roots in Spanish cusine. Hailing from Ibiza, he has traveled the world and has a particular Interest in Thai cooking. This is reflected in the fusion food available in his restaurant. Having spent many years in the middle and far East, I can attest to the authenticity of his recipes. I will just let the photos Speak for me. One final comment. An average Lunch menu price is about 6-8 Euros for 2 courses and Wine. AMAZING value.
